Before becoming a nationally recognized psychic medium, mindfulness expert, and intuitive business consultant, Hocking worked in Las Vegas’s casino industry. Knowing this position was just a job, and not her calling, Hocking took the leap to found Spirit & Spark. Her mission is to match clients with the best spiritual and wellness provider for their needs, allowing them to gain clarity or closure, so they can begin to heal. Helping people and using her gifts to their maximum power is her calling, and she has made Spirit & Spark her passion.
Realizing and using her gifts.
Hocking says she received her psychic gifts from her grandmother, Eloise, and her great-great-grandmother, Bell. Growing up, Hocking’s grandmother would talk to her about seeing spirits, so Hocking always thought this gift was “normal.” She still has a close connection to her grandmother and great-great-grandmother, often feeling their presence in the room with her as she works with clients.
Hocking says her primary skills include her “third eye”— which is her clairvoyant gift. Hocking explains, “My third eye is like watching a movie on a screen. I see things around a person that help me identify with them.” She says she can also hear noises and voices around people that further assist in her understanding. Hocking is also an empath, meaning she can feel things when she is around other people. Interestingly, Hocking says her gifts do not apply to her life. She says she cannot see, hear, or feel anything that gives her insight into her future.
Due to honing her skills early in life, Hocking has had a lot of time to use them on missing person cases, mysterious death cases, and cold cases. It has brought her great joy and peace, knowing she can provide people with some additional information about the loved ones they are so desperately mourning. Her involvement in these cases has brought long-awaited closure to many loved ones.

She has even trained with industry superstars such as Tony Robbins, Dr. Brian Weiss, Dr. Bruce Lipton, and Dr. Raymond Moody.
Spirit & Spark – like many other businesses during the COVID-19 shutdown – found a way not only to stay afloat but expand. The shutdown provided the opportunity for Hocking to explore the power of virtual business. Reaching across the nation instead of just providing services in Las Vegas, Spirit & Spark has expanded its network of practitioners and reached people they would never have been able to help before.
