Creative jewelry designer, Ashley Marie, highlights her desire for “Freedom and Independence” as the factors driving her and the A. MARIE jewelry brand
Ashley Marie has grown to become a major figure in the fashion world, carving a niche for herself with her unique jewelry collections. Ashley has always been a fan of fashion and started making jewelry at the young age of 8. Ashley was not the average young girl, she found that she preferred being in the company of adults rather than children her own age. Seemingly she had ideas that were beyond her age.
Ashley founded A. MARIE Jewelry brand after spending time with Fashion District. She has gone on to disrupt the fashion industry with a long list of celebrities and popular figures supporting the brand. Ashley has constantly stated that she is on a mission to live her best life and this probably inspired her decision to take on jewelry designing full time.
“I love fashion. I love jewelry and I love how those simple things can totally change how a woman feels about herself. I think that’s my real motivation. I want to make women feel good about themselves. I want to show women that anything is possible. It just takes a little bit of courage, a good outfit and a good attitude (and of course hard work),” said Ashley Marie.
When asked about her motivation, Ashley responded by saying “Women empowerment.” “I am on a mission to truly live my best life. I feel like in order to do so I have to be strategic and smart. But for me, this means strategic about energetic boundaries. Making sure the people and experiences in my life don’t drain me, but instead add value and make me a better person. Finding ways to optimize my mental and physical health. Creating healthy and safe spaces for me to be inspired, hustle, but also rest and reset,” said Ashley Marie.
“Freedom and independence. That doesn’t just mean money, it means having the ability to be in or out of a situation. I want to buy that house, go on that trip… okay. I want to be out of that relationship, I don’t like the business partnership… okay, I can walk away. I made a life where I have the freedom to walk away,” Ashley continued.
The talented jewelry designer added that the joy of seeing her clients light up in her products drives her to keep keeping on. “On a different note – when I see how women light up when they are styled in my product… wow. I mean that could bring me to tears. Seeing a woman who may have been having a bad day, just completely transform – her energy and her glow. That’s what keeps me motivated.”
