The coronavirus had 2 epicenters, one was where it originated from, China, and the other was, Italy, where it spread mayhem as almost a competition to the former country.
If you looked at the worldwide charts of coronavirus and its spread, it almost seemed as if both the countries were in some sort of a race, trying to top the other in the most confirmed cases of the virus and deaths.
Till early March, China still had the most cases of people with coronavirus and their death rate was high too. However, as per worldometers recent update, China has dropped to the 4th spot with Italy still being at the second post.
As of right now, Italy has over 1,10,000 confirmed cases with over 13,000 people having died and the US has taken the number 1 spot, having more than 2 lakh confirmed cases.
Common citizens and medical experts around the world have commented on Italy’s inability to take control of the crisis in its initial stages itself and the other ways it failed its citizens.
