Women politicians have been manhandled, beaten, hit, and even humiliated in public all in the name of politics. Being in a country like India, where patriarchy runs through the veins of almost every profession, politics is not any better.
Seeing a woman do well in a male-dominated field has and will lead to such incidents. Here is a list of attacks on female politicians. This is something that ‘a list’ should never even exist on, but well, here we are.
