Chief Guest: HE Shri Anil Baijal, Hon`ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, highlighted the need for better Management of Waste and Air through partnership with Industry. He urged Industry to partner in different areas of waste management areas like Managing Landfills, E-Waste etc through technology and CSR. He also mentioned about Green Economic zones in Delhi for Green Technology and Innovation.
The Hon’ble LG inaugurated the CII Delhi State Annual Session and Business Conference 2021. He lauded CII Delhi’s contribution in this pandemic on COVID-19 Relief & Rehabilitation work done with Delhi Police and other State agencies. He also appreciated CII Delhi for the work done under YUVA – A Skill Development Initiative of Delhi Police which has trained approx. more than 11000 youths so far. He also congratulated CII Delhi for its success on ‘Waste to Manure’ programme in household segregation which has scaled up to more than 13000 household in East Delhi.
