June 6: Dr. Dinesh Sabnis a Senior Educationist, Sports Mentor & Author from India who has been working in the field of Education for past 20 years and has also contributed on various projects of UN SDG Goals, Peace, Human Rights & Humanitarian areas, received Commemorative Medal of Peace on occasion of United Nations International Peacekeepers Day which was celebrated on 30th May 2022 by The Blue Helmet Veteran’s Association “Soldiers of Peace- AISP SPIA” in United Nations Geneva Office. This Medal was conferred to Dr. Dinesh Sabnis for his eminent performance in the Nobel cause of Peace in order to obtain better world by serving in the name of Justice, International Law & Social Progress. This honor was conferred to Dr.Sabnis by President of Soldiers of Peace International Association, Mr. Laurent Attar-Bayrou. Other eminent Guest present during this ceremony was H.E. Ms. Tatiana Valovaya, Director General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, H.E. Amb. Indra Mani Pandey, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations in Geneva and H.E. Robert F. Blum, President of Le Cercle Diplomatique de Geneva.
The Blue Helmet Veteran’s Association “Soldiers of Peace- AISP SPIA” that was hosting this event are on the roster of United Nations as General Consultative Organisation and has more than 50000 members from around 20 countries consisting of UN Peace Keepers current & veteran soldiers, civilians & students delegation working on various subjects such as Humanitarian Aids, Human Rights, Sports, Education related to Peacekeepers & United Nations Charters & concepts.
