Ekata Manch whose generosity came to light during the COVID 19 pandemic has further extended their support in providing relief to the flood-affected areas of Khed, Mahad, Chiplun and Konkan in Maharashtra.
Ekata Manch is spearheaded by Clara’s College and Children Welfare Centre High School’s principal Shri. Ajay Kaul sir achieved this humongous task of collecting funds, food grains, utensils and other daily necessities in large quantities which was flagged off by the veteran popular actress Shabana Azmi recently.
This gesture has won accolades as Ajay Kaul’s Ekata Manch which believes in unity and togetherness ‘ Sarva Dharm’ of all religions and communities got all the likes on one platform and made this campaign a huge success.
“I am overwhelmed with the kind of work the Ekata Manch has done. Humanity has won there is a need of more like-minded people like Ajay sir and Ekata Manch to initiate such noble drives. This has increased my faith in humanity,” said veteran actor Shabana Azmi who personally witnessed all the relief material being loaded in the trucks which was later flagged off by her.
The food and relief material was sent to various parts of Maharashtra in Chiplun, Khed, Mahad and Konkan region.
Principal Ajay Kaul who also is the President of Ekata Manch which completes 25 years is ecstatic about the successful drive. “I can’t express the feeling of giving and helping the needy in words. Who says there is no humanity amongst us. All the communities Samaj have joined hands to together in achieving and collecting funds relief materials food and amenities for the families who are in distress and will continue to do it till they have not settled or rehabilitated”.
Apart from veteran actress Shabana Azmi who graced the event, also present were Rahul Kanal Core – Committee Member of Yuva Sena and Member of the Education Committee at the M.C.G.M, BMC along with Prashant Kashid the Vice President Ekata Manch, Advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt spokesperson Ekata Manch, and Spiritual gurus/ heads of all religions like Dilawar Gilani and Ishaq Qureshi of Rajasthani Muslim Samaj also graced the occasion.
