The Investment and Financing Conference of the 6th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Held in Guangzhou

-

On November 19, the offline investment and financing conference of the 6th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at the South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, China. The online resources matchmaking platform was officially launched since September 28, 2020. So far, there have been 459 investment organizations or individual investors, and 2,020 projects participating in this conference. It aimed to create a resources matchmaking platform combining investment and financing, implementation, and cooperation to help China International College Students’ “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition develop high-quality projects to the market.

Meanwhile, the online resources matchmaking platform launched in this September has established integrated channels connecting  projects, resources, and related policies to achieve accurate, efficient, and rapid matchmaking between projects and investors.

Through the online platform, matchmaking sessions in specific fields including new materials, new generation of information technology, intelligent manufacturing, and biotechnology were phased in the early stage. A great many high-quality projects have gained intentions of large amount investment and further cooperation.

Four entry projects of this year’s competition gave roadshows on site during the offline event held on November 19. Among them, the project presented by the South China University of Technology was a project that deeply studied high-performance nanocrystalline magnetic core, with the passed-yield of its 23 products in seven categories far higher than the market average. The project from the University of Science and Technology of China focused on the field of precision cancer treatment. The project from Peking University focused on analog chips with high reliability and high efficiency.

The resource matchmaking platform, as part of the 6th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, will continue its operations to promote transferring the results of the competition into products.
