As autonomous AI agents begin acting in the real world, decisions affecting Money, Time, Health, and Earth are still evaluated one condition at a time. Threshold Intelligence reduces heterogeneous conditions to values between 0 and 1, then evaluates them together before execution.
This invention is designed to check what an AI is about to do, before it does it, and to keep a record of the decision. Everything below traces to real, documented material behind the filing, a glimpse, not the complete picture.
One limit, stated up front: this architecture checks signals it is given. It does not itself sense a physical event, generate power, or decide what is fair.
Time
When Bad News Arrives Too Late
Food, medicine, and product safety are usually separate departments that never talk. Where tracking data connects a batch across categories, this architecture is designed to let one contamination event be checked as one decision instead of several separate discoveries.
A Payment Checked Against More Than One Signal
Payments increasingly settle in near-real time, while fraud and laundering checks often still run on systems built for an era when clearance took hours. Where behavioural and network signals already exist, this architecture is designed to weigh them against a payment as one decision, not several after-the-fact alerts.
A Cascade Caught Before It Spreads
A single failure in one system- power, cooling, compute- can trigger the next before anyone downstream is warned. Where an early risk signal already exists, this architecture is designed to advise a connected system to prepare before the cascade reaches it, similar to the way a grid-stability warning can trigger backup power elsewhere before an outage arrives. It does not predict the failure itself; it governs what happens once a genuine warning exists.
Emergency Resources, Weighed Rather Than First-Come
Where urgency, availability, and severity are defined as comparable measurements, resources can be routed by a rule agreed in advance, not to whoever asks first, and only as fair as that rule itself.
Health
A Health Risk Checked Without the Diagnosis Crossing This Boundary
Most companies just promise not to misuse your data, but they still have it. This invention is designed to work differently: an insurer could check whether you qualify for coverage without ever seeing what your actual condition is. Nobody could ever see it. Just that this one check doesn’t need to.
A Body Measured on the Device That Took the Reading
Your biological age, how old your body really is, can now be estimated from health data, though there’s no single agreed way to measure it yet. Most methods send your raw reading to someone else’s server. This design is intended to work right on your device, scoring itself, deleting the working copy right away, and sending out only the final result.
A Workload Checked Against a Declared Limit
Machines already have safe weight limits, checked before they’re given a job, not after something breaks. This is designed to do the same for people; for example, a busy air traffic controller’s new task could be checked against a declared limit before it’s handed to them. It doesn’t invent a science for measuring someone’s mental capacity. It just enforces a limit once one already exists.
A Prescription Checked Against the Sources Actually Connected
Your pharmacy, your specialist, and your medical history usually don’t talk to each other, so a new prescription can miss an allergy that’s written down somewhere else. When all three are connected, this invention is designed to check the new prescription against all of them at once, using only safe, general signals, with the aim of catching a dangerous mix before the prescription is filled.
Earth
The Power-to-Compute Problem, Checked at the Source
AI companies themselves acknowledge their hardware now needs more power than the electrical grid can give it. This invention is designed to keep a continuous check on a facility’s electrical and heat conditions, fire risk, overload, shutdown — in a manner similar to how a grid warning can trigger backup power before an outage happens. It doesn’t make more electricity. It is designed to act quickly once a real warning already exists.
Curtailed Power, Matched to Where It Is Actually Needed
Clean energy can be generated and then go unused because it can’t reach the places that need it, at the very same time AI data centres are underpowered somewhere else. This reflects the same mismatch problem this invention is designed to address elsewhere. The supply and the demand both exist. They are often evaluated separately rather than as one governed decision.
A Command Checked Before It Touches the Power Grid
Power and water systems run on computers now, so one bad command could change something that matters. The teams monitoring security threats and the teams overseeing operational safety often cannot see each other’s warnings. This invention is designed to check the command itself, using both warnings together, before it is allowed to run.

None of this builds itself. A safeguard spanning banks, software running a public utility, the grid infrastructure an entire industry is currently racing to expand- these are decades of real infrastructure, built only with capital a patent filing alone has never generated.
