2020 has been a very different year than most of us would have imagined. The world as we knew it changed overnight. Events canceled, schools closed, millions of people furloughed. Any occupation that wasn’t already in the digital space had to find a way to pivot into the new age of digital technology. For real estate agents, this meant no more in person showings, and in the real estate development world construction was put on hold. To stay afloat in the real estate world you have to be consistent, to stay afloat in the real estate world during a pandemic you have to be consistent, adaptable, and have strong perseverance.
This year VIP Media put together a list of what we believe are the top real estate professionals during 2020. We hope their stories inspire other real estate professionals to work hard and stay strong even in uncertain times.

Over those three decades, he has bought over two billion dollars worth of real estate in eight states. Grant currently manages 7,068 units with his private equity firm Cardone Capital. He is such a good real estate investor because of his extreme discipline, specific formulas, and good instinct to know when to exit the property. Throughout his career, Grant has been giving small investors a chance to start small and go big.

Scott Porter is a highly successful real estate mogul. Scott grew up in a family that owned one of the top luxury real estate brokerages in the Prestigious Hamptons region of Long Island, New York. While his family has had a lot of success, it was not always easy. When the 2008 economic crisis happened, his family lost everything. This motivated Scott to work hard and join real estate to get back at the top. Now, Scott runs his own residential real luxury real estate company in Miami and The Hamptons. Some of his greatest accomplishments include having his first sale at $1.6 million. Scott recently closed a record breaking $18 million dollar property in Miami Beach. With Covid-19, because Scott works with high net worth individuals, he was not affected much. The biggest challenges he faced was tenants not wanting to show the property, and condo associations now allowing showings at certain times in the day. In 2021, Scott plans on working twice as hard to provide the services his clients expect and deserve.

He holds the prestigious roles of President of Home Qualified, a digital resource for buyers and sellers, and Vice President at Cardinal Financial, a nationally recognized mortgage loan company.
