FIITJEE or the Forum For Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination is often in the news but not for the right reasons.
The coaching institute that helps students prepare mainly for the IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), was recently under the scanner for not paying its employees salary on time with many of them speaking out about the issues at the company and the toxic work culture there.
Now, a video has surfaced where its founder Dinesh DK Goel is seen sitting with various center heads over a virtual meeting and shouting out abuses and curse words.
What Happened With The FIITJEE Founder?
The video was first posted on the Instagram page of Dalimss News, a news publication website.
On 1 December, they posted a video captioned: “FIITJEE Chairman D.K. Goel faces allegations of using abusive language during salary disputes with employees. A concerning reflection on workplace ethics and employee treatment.”
In a longer video uploaded on YouTube, it can be seen that during a virtual meeting taking place with FIITJEE’s chairman D.K. Goel and several of the center heads someone from Mumbai Thane asked a question, “FIITJEE Edfora invested 142 cr in other Edtech industry during the turbulence”.
It is then that DK Goel bursts out into anger saying, “useless people… what kind of shit people are these? You know name of your father, the person who has written this? Nonsense. Go ask your mother who your father is. Nonsense people. Why don’t you talk about Adani investing so much money?”
He then shouts, “Who is this bloody person? Throw him out of Mumbai.”
During this, someone can be heard saying. “Why are you getting angry? if it is wrong…say it politely.”
Then Goel is heard calling the person “bastards” and how “indecency ki hadd hai (this is the limit of indecency) whoever is this person I don’t want to see him in FIITJEE.”

He then exclaims in anger, “Agar tum apni baap ki aulad ho to ye prove kardo ye Edfora ne 142 crore invest kiye… agar baap ki aulad hai to.”
When the same person who asked the question wrote that this is available in the public domain Goel goes into a rage, screaming out abuses and curses saying, “M**ad**ch*d, public domain mein bol raha hai b*******d dekh. teri maa ki c***t. b*******d. kutte ki aulad. itni ye negative cheezein bol raha hai.”
When someone claims that the person was just asking a question, Goel states, “Manish ji, please throw out this person from FIITJEE, I don’t want to see such people. Legal please take action. I’m doing this and this person is saying things like this?”
He doesn’t seem to be done as toward the end of the video Goel says, “Your mother must be from red light area. I’m saying your mother must be from red light area, go and complain to the court that I said this. Ek aadmi ki tolerance ki limit hoti hai (there is a limit to a man’s tolerance).”
In the comments user @bhagwano-ka-bhagwan gave some context to what is happening in the video, “Fiitjee is not giving their teachers salary from feb 2023, initially they were telling we will give them salary when company will be more financially stable even teachers were told to take out loan for themselves and fiitjee will pay it later
when teacher ask for salary in Oct 2023 they were told that they are the fault why fiitjee is doing bad, and even threatened teachers that if they leave fiitjee they have to pay for damage they have done to company, even if teacher joined after fiitjee downfall and if they want to leave they are still forced to pay for damage they did to institute.
This footage is from fiitjee Nov meeting in which teachers and all city head director are joined and they are explaining why they can give this month salary too and they telling teachers that they ruined fiitjee.
But in the chat someone commented that they are doing 142 cr of investment in edtech which is making loss (which is one of the main reason why fiitjee is struggling other than low admission rates) he just get angry and starts abusing the teacher who typed this.”
The original poster also commented that it was the head of the Mumbai FIITJEE who recorded this video. However, these claims are not verified in any official capacity.
The video has so far just been posted on LinkedIn and Reddit where it went viral with many people claiming that this is nothing new from D.K. Goel and FIITJEE which has a very toxic work culture.
LinkedIn user Ankit Uttam commented on LinkedIn saying, “FIITJEE has been a beacon of hope in the toxic workplace area in 2024.”
Another user Srinivasan R. wrote, “The man has been like this since 1995. This is not new. I have watched this man cursing & throwing abuses & even paperweights at his faculty over profit sharing.”
In a sub-Reddit called r/JEENEETards someone posted this video captioned, “Fiitjee chairman abusing in all centre head meeting” where user _TheDepressedOne_ wrote, “I too had a very bad experience with FIITJEE, especially the centre head was damn annoying, he used to come to the class, write on the whiteboard from his notes, and then go away with little or no explanation, destroyed my whole physics, lol.”
