Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
My father has always been an entrepreneur. I have always been fascinated by entrepreneurship! At the age of 13, I opened my first shop online, paid by my pocket money. That’s where I earned my first money. Now I trade internationally with goods and am a successful e-commerce businessman at the age of 17!
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
I could talk about what happened all day. As an online retailer, you have so much contact with people, that makes the job unique! With us online merchants there is nothing that hasn’t happened.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Just keep going. Losses are a normal part of life. Sometimes you have to fall down. And when you fall down, you just have to get up and keep going. Never give up.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
You always need people standing behind you. But in the end, I was the one who ran it. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without them, they wouldn’t have gotten this far without me. It’s not just my family: I am grateful to my friends, my parents, my siblings, and my team!
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
In the end, I try to give something back to the people! For the future, I plan projects that help the environment. But so far I have only made donations.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“You just can’t let life happen to you, you have to make life happen.” In the past, when I was a child, I let everything come to me without having a stake in life. But today that has changed! I am an active participant in my life.
