Recently, Kamala Harris has been the talk of the town in Tamil Nadu. They are supporting her, even making journeys to temples praying for her success. Her grandfather, who hails from a small town called Thulasendrapuram in Tamil Nadu, was a respected civil servant and an active member in the independence struggle as well.
Tamilians are taking pride in the fact that she has managed to become a candidate for the office of Vice President and her ancestral village is in India, even though she wasn’t born and brought up here.
