Moonlight by director Barry Jenkins has been proclaimed as one of the best movies of 2016. The movie’s biggest triumph lies in its depiction of gay men in a community that has already been marginalized – the African-American population in the United States.
And the sound that you’ll probably hear at the end of the movie? That will be a heartbreak.
The film has travelled all the way from Toronto International Film Festival, New York Film Festival to BFI London Film Festival.
