Breakfast Babble is ED’s own little space on the interwebs where we gather to discuss ideas and get pumped up (or not) for the day. We judge things too. Sometimes. Always. Whatever, call it catharsis and join in people.

Hey, fellow night owls and morning risers! Today, I’ll spill the beans (and maybe some tea) on why waking up early has become my new jam. Yup, this former night-loving champ has seen the light, literally!

Imagine the sun is barely up, birds are chirping a happy tune, and there I am, sleepy but surprisingly cheery, welcoming the crack of dawn like an old friend. Now, for those who knew me before, this might be a shock. I used to stay up super late, waking up late and feeling groggy. But hold tight, because I’m here to tell you all about my early bird adventure!

First off, let’s talk about why waking up early rocks! Imagine waking up before everyone else, feeling like you’ve already won the day. It’s like finding a secret superpower that only works in the morning. Suddenly, you’ve got time for a peaceful breakfast, yoga, or a light workout  – you name it!

But wait, there’s more! Waking up early isn’t just about getting stuff done. It’s about owning your mornings and starting the day you intend to! not rushing around like crazy to get things done barely on time. Now you can sip your coffee, catch up on the news, and maybe even pamper yourself – all before most people even wake up!

Of course, there are some funny moments on this early bird journey. On one hand, I am wide awake and ready to conquer the world. But then, five minutes later, I’m fumbling around in the dark, wondering why I ever thought waking up before sunrise was a good idea, the irony!

However, even with these occasional oopsies, I wouldn’t trade my love for mornings for anything. Sure, there are days when my bed calls me back, but then I remember the feeling of watching the sunrise, the joy of starting my day right, and suddenly, hitting snooze isn’t so tempting.

So here’s to all you night owls: give early mornings a chance! You might find they’re not so bad after all. As for me, I’ll be here, enjoying my coffee and greeting the day with a smile. Cheers to early mornings and all the fun they bring!
