With plenty of action and big money signings by major football clubs, we bring you the details of the major signings on the final day of the transfer window :
1. Jack Wilshire to Bournemouth :
The Arsenal midfielder has agreed for a season long loan to Bournemouth, after not featuring in Arsene Wenger’s squad for quite a long time as a starting player.
Although a surprise, it may just be the push that he needs to do better for Arsenal once he completes his loan.
2. Joe Hart to Torino :
Perhaps the most disappointing story, England goalkeeper Joe Hart has been loaned to Italian Serie A outfit Torino for a season.
Pep Guardiola made it clear that he intends to win the league but sending their first choice keeper for a loan in Italy is a very strange decision.
3. Islam Slimani to Leicester City :
Sporting CP’s top scorer from the 2015-16 season Islam Slimani has agreed a transfer to Leicester for a reported fee of £30 million and will surely intend to prove his worth, along the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy with the former being his national teammate.
4. Mario Balotelli to Nice :
The hot headed Italian Mario Balotelli has agreed a move to French outfit Nice and the transfer has been confirmed after it was evident that Balotelli didn’t feature in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
5. Marcos Alonso to Chelsea :
Antonio Conte has made another signing from Fiorentina as he has completed the transfer of Alonso on the final day to strengthen his squad for a reported fees of £23 million.
6. Samir Nasri to Sevilla :
The Frenchman hasn’t enjoyed his time in Manchester City this season and he has been loaned to La Liga club Sevilla.
7. David Luiz to Chelsea :
In a stunning transfer deal, Chelsea have re-signed David Luiz from Paris Saint-Germain
