Zidane is a 22 -year-old serial entrepreneur from the Holy Land , who has already made his name in the world of technology at such a young age. He is also the CEO Founder of Repell – a smart anklet which is meant to keep hikers safe from scorpions, snakes and other reptiles through high frequency sounds that it generates. Zidane Awad Nimer – Early Years
Zidane Awad was born in 1997 in Nazareth,Israel . He got his early education at the Nazareth Baptist School and excelled in many subjects. His special interest in mathematics and physics earned him many prizes and awards, achieving full scholarship to MEET program in the 9th standard. This was the program that built the entrepreneurial mindset in Zidane and here he also learned computer science from top MIT alumnus instructors.
As soon as he graduated school with perfect Psychometric score, he immediately started working on his personal tech projects. 3 years After, he joined the Technion University where he studied Civil Engineering.
Zidane’s very first creation that was launched publicly was a mobile app named Alarme. He was just 16 years old, when he designed the app in his science class at school. Later he shared his idea with one of his online friends and they took it to a Hackathon where they were competing against the college grads and still managed to secure the first prize.

- Veyago
Founded in 2018, Veyago is a platform tailor made for travelers. It allows users to enter details of their interests and relevant trip details to give them the complete itinerary for the suggested routes.

- Coolit
It’s a 2019 creation from Zidane Awad where the whole idea is based on the self-cooling can that Zidane founded back in 2019 after brainstorming his idea since his second year at college. After learning about the endothermic and exothermic reactions in his chemistry class, Zidane thought of Coolit – something that could use endothermic reaction to cool down anything inside the can.
This self-cooling can has two layers of aluminum with an endothermic material in between. The reaction starts when the material gets in contact with oxygen which is allowed to enter inside with a press of a button placed at the bottom of the can. As the reaction begins, it absorbs all the heat from the surrounding and cools down the can, and anything it has inside.
- Repell
– a smart anklet which is meant to keep hikers safe from scorpions, snakes and other reptiles through high frequency sounds that it generates. This startup of his raised $200k in investment until July 2020 when it was first released. He was offered investment opportunities from American and Saudi companies but he declined both offers. Instead, he went for a venture capital funding for a previous project of his.
