Majed Veysel, a renowned architect and photographer, is one such professional who recognised the sheer beauty of the classic and raw colours of black and white.
Since his childhood days, this world-famous artist was engrossed in the world of architecture and photography which slowly turned into his passion, and ultimately, believing his immense potential, he converted this passion into his profession.
The undying interest of visiting old places like museums and traditional monuments slowly converted into his passion of capturing these beauties in his camera in black and white colours. His love for his work made him travel across countries like Italy, Turkey and France in search of the perfect moment and place to capture in his lens.
ABOUT HIM
Born in the town of Aleppo, Syria on January 15, 1995, Veysel completed his Bachelor’s degree on architecture in the year 2017 from “Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi”, situated in Istanbul, Turkey after finishing his high-school from American School which was situated in Aleppo, Syria. Later, he moved on to complete his Master’s degree on architecture from Italy.
HIS ACHIEVEMENTS
This talented young man was awarded the Brand Ambassador Prize for his exceptional architecture project at Versace Headquarters which is situated in Rome, Italy in the year 2016. He has also won several international competitions such as the National Complex in South Korea, and other such competitions that were held in and around Istanbul.
He is also a member of the ‘Chamber Of Architects of Turkey’ and he received the esteemed prize by ‘FGA Mimarlik’ for his brilliant visualization software built for architecture in the year 2015. One of his greatest achievements till date is that he has an immense contribution towards designing the tallest building in all of Turkey, called the ‘Skyland Istanbul’. His experience includes interning for firms such as S.B.ARCH. Bargone Associati situated in Rome, Italy and Acimert Mimarlik — AAC, situated in Istanbul, Turkey.
PUBLICATIONS
His works have been published across several platforms. Some of them are Rome into Your Bloodstream in 2016, in International Academy of Rome where he was also selected to be the best student, Optical Illusion by Adobe in the year 2017, and Always See the Other Side photography by Art on Istanbul again in the year 2017. Other than these prominent ones, his works have been published across a plethora of platforms such as Thrive Global, Yahoo News, etc., which have inspired people to develop a deep love for architecture.

Being one of the very few successful artists who has combined the beauty of both architecture and photography, Majed Veysel’s work is truly an expression of himself and his impeccable vision.
