So many books, so little time“.

This thought ran through my mind constantly while getting ready for the last day of World book fair which was one of the marked calendar events, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi this year. The excitement about the fair was obvious even on the last day by the crowd swarming in. It was a perfect treat for the bibliophiles and even for the people who like to gain knowledge and explore more in the literary area.

Publishing House, Publishing House everywhere!
The fair not only had stalls by various famous publishing houses such as Penguin Random House, Harper and Collins but also had a great mix of events like book releases, panel discussions and cultural performances.
While talking to one stall owner, he said that this year around the crowd is bigger and better, and the footfall too was great this year.

Ocean of books to splurge on; what else does a bibliophile want!

There were stalls where the books were sold at heavy discounts which gave the fanatics a chance of getting spoilt and splurging more.
The books ranged from graphic novels to autobiographies to timeless classics. China was the guest country this time and the pavilion was stunning and was quite amusing. There were various varieties of books from Chinese culture to Chinese-Hindi translation.

As I went on the last day I also got to see the effort of the people behind such a successful book fair as the fair came to an end. I wish I had more time to explore more stalls  as the book fair brought cultures, people of all ages together.

After a tiring day, the street food or any eat-able item for that matter made my whole face melt with drool.
