Delhi’s economy is facing its worst recession in many decades. Though the government has eased restrictions and allowed businesses to restart, more than two months of lockdown and flight of migrant workers from urban & industrial centers have crippled our state’s economy.
CII in their stead reached out to various industries across all sectors to understand the issues faced by them and the overall economic impact of the pandemic and the consequent lockdown.
Every sector is feeling the pain in some way or the other because of this pandemic.
So this year, they will be working with the Indian Government and industry to bring back growth to the economy and try to mitigate the enormous human cost of the pandemic by protecting jobs and livelihoods.
Keeping the main agenda to bring back Delhi’s economy on track, the Delhi chapter of CII are organizing a CII Delhi E-Conclave: “Building Delhi for a New World” on Friday, 3 July 2020 through a virtual platform from 10 am to 2.30 pm.
This conclave will focus on strategies with a core focus on bringing growth back to Delhi’s economy.
Some of the key sessions will focus on areas like:
- healthcare
- retail
- real estate
- technology
- pharmaceuticals
- start-up, tourism
- e-commerce
- EODB
- MSME
- finance
Along with these, there will also be a special session with Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu.
