In this era of social media exposure and monetizing creativity in various industries have charted a path for those doing what they love while making big money off doing so. One upcoming known artist with such an intellectual mind topping charts is the young designer, YouTuber, influencer, and entrepreneur, Clark Williams also recognized as Oprahside. Building up his brand from scratch overcoming hurdles and challenges along the way, Clark Williams is said to be ahead of achieving incredible heights with his team. During this fashion time in social media, many industries wish they’ve gotten started earlier to fit in part of the movement.
The young entrepreneur was born and raised in Illinois, United States. Williams started out with a YouTube sensation back in 2016, where he played video games on the channel and amassed a big following of a whopping number of 600,000 subscribers. The following year, he made a decision to move over into California continuing a groundbreaking YouTube channel dedicated to sports reaction (specializing basketball) – making him the pioneer of all sports reaction pages on YouTube! With about two million subscribers, Clark was brought to the spotlight by his well performed YouTube channel.
Paving the route for other YouTubers in the niche, Williams describes himself as authentic, real, and honest, making him loved by fans while also a stand out among others in the same industry. There are no smooth pathways to success, and Williams is no rookie to the process. Speaking on what it cost him to reach where he’s at now Williams shared, “I faced depression, I faced a lot of stress, I faced the struggles that come with being a black influencer on social media. I’ve faced what feels like to me as a lack of appreciation for what I do for the world. But all of that has just made me at the end stronger.” Nonetheless, he keeps his head high and refuses to drown in the sea of obstacles that rest failures. Williams lastly mentioned that his first love was fashion designing, away from YouTube and influencing. It’s his wish to become one of the most prominent fashion designers in the world someday, designing clothing that will grow into a significant streetwear brand and live on even after his time on Earth. Staying true to this course, Williams created his clothing line, Likemnds, in 2019, which launched two seasons in June and December 2019.
