9th September, 2014. The Flint Center, Cupertino: one of the most awaited smartphones of the year – the iPhone 6- was launched by Apple.
Apple took the entire world by surprise to present three smart-devices and moreover, broke out of their standard compact size to come out with larger-screens. These were the:
1. iPhone 6
2. iPhone 6 Plus
3. Apple Watch
So basically, now you have to decide what all you must sell – be it your family, dog, neighbours or even your house – to cope up with this crazy gadgetry you Apple lovers crave!
IPHONE 6 AND IPHONE 6 PLUS
The iPhone 6 has a screen measure of 4.7 inches while the Plus measures 5.5 inches (I wonder how it will ever fit into our dainty hands?!); both come with Retina HD displays and ion-strengthened glass with a thickness of 6.8mm and 7.1mm respectively. So now, when you throw it at someone’s head, the screen is less likely to crack. #iSuperwoman
Both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will run on Apple’s A8 64 bit chip. According to Schiller, this translates into 20% faster CPU and 50% faster graphics with complete design consistency. Also, for the first time Apple gives us the power button on the side (courtesy: Android). #iFaster #iNoDropAnymore
Both phones have an 8MP camera with ‘True-tone flash’, 1.5 micron pixels. The cameras have an iSight sensor. “With these new cameras, panoramas can be up to 43 megapixels”, Schiller also said, “that face detection and blink/smile detection is better too”. #iTooSmart
The iPhone 6 has ‘digital’ image stabilization, whereas the iPhone 6 Plus has optical image stabilization (went completely above your head, I know, but to be precise, it means that now you have access to prettier selfies with the burst feature). #iLookLikeAMoose #but #iUltraPhotogenic
