An entire contingent of Indian players, having 53 females and 68 males, representing India in the Tokyo Olympics that has just concluded. This was India’s best-ever medal tally in the Olympics, which shows progress. Along with it, medal draughts were broken, dreams came true and needless to say, headlines were made.
Here, we sum up India’s best performers who had a podium finish and made our nation proud and held up faiths of the 1.3 billion people, most of whom did not know their names before they won the medals.
