The Ambanis truly live up to their name of being the richest family in the country with the latest reveal of the wedding invitation for the upcoming marriage between Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal.
Mukesh Ambani’s daughter was engaged to her fiance in May with the God Dhana, a pre-wedding ritual being held at the Ambani residence in Mumbai.
Where we are all aware of Isha, Anand Piramal is the founder of Piramal Realty, a leading real estate firm in India and is the son of Swati and Ajay Piramal of the Piramal Group.
The pair had also thrown a lavish 3-day engagement party in September 2018 at Lake Como in Italy, where not only the big names of Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and more visited, but even famous singer John Legend serenaded the couple.
Legend sang his most popular track ‘All Of Me Loves All Of You’ for the couple and the entire event was conceptualised by luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana.
Now with Mukesh and Nita Ambani, finally unveiling the wedding date for Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, as December 12th 2018, they have again shown the people what luxury is, with a Rs. 3 lac wedding invite.
We take a look at what the invite really looks like and whether it really is worth that price or not:
The invite is a beautiful cream white with floral designs on the border of the top and on the sides is a criss-cross pattern. Inside there is another box pink in colour and golden embroidery.
One can hear the Gayatri Mantra, when you open the card and see the couple’s initials of ‘IA’ etched on top standing for Isha and Anand respectively.
The entire box is divided into 2 layers with the first having the diary/album that have the invites, a handwritten letter by Isha and Anand to their grandparents, lotus cut-outs, along with an itinerary of the various ceremonies.
The inside of the pink box is lined with a deep maroon velvet and it holds 4 small gold boxes each topped with a special flower that the couple holds dear to them.
The flowers “personify qualities and values” of the couple’s grandmothers, with the Lotus dedicated to “Kokila Mummy”, Frangipani to “Arunika Nani”, Hibiscus to “Purnima Nani” and the Rose to “Lalita Dadi.”
The wedding invite is a beautiful mix of luxury and tradition with the detailed wedding invitation dedicated to their grandparents.
The letter pays the couple’s respects to their grandparents and mentions them as their role models in life.

On December 8th and 9th 2018, the family will be hosting their friends and families at a grand 2 day function in Udaipur, before the wedding takes place on December 12th at Antilia, the Ambanis house in Mumbai.
Each box holds a small trinket, like this one holds a small image of Goddess Gayatri. The rest hold ornate necklaces embedded with precious stones in a potli bag and photos of gods and goddesses in a gold frame.
Apparently, the total cost of the whole invite is 3 lakh rupees individually, meaning each box costs INR 3 lac.
