From July 1, all of India will be free of the production, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of specific single-use plastic goods that have a high potential for littering and poor usefulness.
This announcement was made on Tuesday by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Next this, the ministry created a list of things that will be prohibited as of the following month.

The Ministry stated that starting on July 1, 2022, “The manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of following single-use plastic, including polystyrene and expanded polystyrene, commodities shall be prohibited with effect from the 1st July 2022.”
