On 12th October, Femina hosted Femina Powerlist North 2015, to award and felicitate 10 influential and powerful women achievers from various fields.
ED was also present there and it surely was a magnificent event with everyone dressed in their ravishing gowns and shining jewels.
Sexy, Sassy and Socialites… What More? Achievers.
The award celebrates the most powerful achievers from the North region. Ten influential women from various fields were felicitated at the grand ceremony. Just to name a few winners- Parineeti Chopra, Sairee Chahal, Pernia Qureshi, Charu Sachdev, Gauri & Nainika were there amongst others.
We chatted up with Pernia Qureshi from Pernia’s Popup Shop and it was an interesting and fashion filled experience.
Speaking on this occasion, Tanya Chaitanya, Editor, Femina, said, “Power and Delhi are synonymous. Powerful women and Delhi even more so. Femina as a brand has always been synonymous with celebrating women and their achievements and has done pioneering work in putting these achievers in the spotlight for the last 50 years. It is essential at any juncture in life to award those for their hard work and achievements and in a country like India where position of women has changed drastically over a period of time, such initiatives are moving a step closer to betterment.
Overall it was an enthralling event.
