A few days ago, a person opened fire in a gay night club in Orlando, which resulted in the death of more than 50 people. It is yet not clear whether there was involvement of Islamic State or not, but one thing is lucid that homophobia has played a major role in the initiation of the shooting.
The world went bizarre discussing LGBTQ rights. This was the US.
We can all debate about LGBTQ rights on social media but when it comes to our nation, a slow realization crept inside us and suddenly the number 377 flashes in front of us. We know that we have no rights to discuss this on a global platform because we ourselves don’t treat that community with respect. However, an issue is an issue no matter what country it is.
