ATM’s Not Working, 500 And 1000 Notes Banned; But Can We All Have Some Patience Please?

198

The recent demonetization of the 500 and 1000 rupee notes has although resulted in a lot of black money flow to stop, it has also caused a lot of problems and tensions for the common citizens of the nation.

The abrupt and sudden enforcement of the ban brought everyone’s life in the country to a screeching halt with many having a lot of difficulty in managing daily operations.

The current situation is something like this that 500 and 1000 notes banned which has resulted in super long ques outside banks, ATMs have stopped working and people having literally no money for almost anything.

All of which has brought forth a lot of frustration among the people and where before they were praising PM Modi for his good work in stopping flow of black money and how swiftly this action was carried out. They only are now cursing and saying negative things about him due to the problems we have to face because of this decision.

500 And 1000 Notes Banned, Life Not Easy

I will be the first to say that yes, it has not been easy. The sudden stop of all 500 and 1000 rupee notes has been very problematic, as even the simple act of travelling to office or buying daily household goods like vegetables and such has become difficult.

On top of that the long ques at the bank, where servers are going down due to the extreme rise in traffic, having to spend at least 3 to 4 hours simply to get some cash can make anyone irritated.

Add on to that the politicians using this growing frustration for their own gain and riling the citizens up even more.

I mean is Mayawati actually going to lecture Modi on money??? Did we all forget that gigantic garland made entirely of money or what about the statues and all in her name?

Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal too have jumped on to this bandwagon.

This all has just validated the anger of the citizens even more and instead of helping, has only worked up the common people even more.

But Can We All Exercise Some Patience Right Now?

Understood that the 500 and 1000 notes banned has been very difficult and the process of getting them changed has also been extremely slow.

However can we also keep just a little bit of patience and not get so amped up?

I am in no way trying to belittle or dismiss the problems faced, but we must also think of what exactly is at stake here.

We are the one who are always saying that the govt. doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t take any action and is too slow.

Well then, with such fast actions one must be just a little bit ready to let the dust settle and willing to wait until then.

Basically what I’m saying is that we must exercise some patience and realise that for any policy that takes place, there is a bit of adjustment period.

And on the govt. part they have increased the date till when some areas can accept the old 500 and 1000 rupee notes. Banks will be working through the weekend and pretty soon ATMs will be working too.
