The I&B Ministry of the Indian Government recently notified Facebook-owned WhatsApp to make the content on its platform traceable. This would mean that encryption would be removed from it.

The impact this has on user’s privacy is scary and a lot of people have spoken out against it.

  1. In my opinion the government is looking for a way to justify the spying on citizens.
    Do you really think that any country would let some “encrypted” app from other country and couldn’t have any power over it?
