Have you ever had the urge to help society? Be the good kid your parents want you to be- finally as good as ‘Sharma ji ka ladka’? Well, Enactus is one of the steps to get to help the society. It was founded in 1975 and was first called SIFE or Students in Free Enterprise (changed to Enactus in October 2012).

WHAT THEY DO

Enactus basically focuses on uplifting the parts of society that need to survive and need assistance. They develop a skill set in them through workshops and conceptualize a business idea for them to start with their skill set. It has helped many societies in reviving lost arts and also in bettering their lives.

IT’S IMPACT IN INDIA

Biggest one being that it got ‘Sharma ji ka ladka’ to do anything other than studying. But it has helped in improving many aspects like sanitation and has also spread awareness in many villages for a lot of social issues. Joining this organization means that the student needs to have a commitment towards contributing towards the society and also a sharp brain and full on zest!

Enactus runs on the motto that if the youth starts to contribute to the society, it excels! And, we couldn’t agree with them more.
