So recently, I came across the news that in London, there is a coffee shop opening.
Now now… I know, this is not really a news that needs to be covered? Tens of coffee shops open almost every month all over the country. Then why exactly am I taking the time out to write up on this one measly café?
That is because they will have a very… unique, let’s say for lack of a better word, feature, wherein they will be providing a blowjob as one of their services.
Oh believe me, I was a bit alarmed too, when I read about the news. I mean just imagine, sitting at a coffee shop, spending some time with your friends and at the next table, a guy is getting a blowjob while sipping his pumpkin latte.
But then to be completely honest, this did not really shock me that much seeing as it is Europe and well, they do have a certain image of not being bothered by such things.
Coincidentally, while researching about this type of a cafe, I learned that they won’t be stopping at just London. There are already reports of opening another such kind of cafe in Geneva, Switzerland.
It also seems to be convenient that prostitution is not illegal in Britain, so perhaps this won’t really create as much a ruckus as it would in say… more conservative countries.
The PR manager sure seems to be quite confident about this kind of a feature, and assures that their lawyer has gone through all possible loopholes and is setting everything up.
One thought that immediately came to my mind was would it be in open, as you can see from my above imaginary scenario I made up. But actually, they will be giving private rooms to customers to want to avail this service, which well is much better.
They also won’t be serving any alcohol drinks which is a good step towards ensuring the safety of the sex workers who will be employed at this café.
That is perhaps the only area where I am a bit skeptical of this service, that is, how will the café ensure complete safety of their employees and that a customer will not try to force or take advantage of one them.
Even still, in the case of looking up innovative ideas for cafes and running a business, this is by far, the most… interesting.
I sign off by asking you all, would you ever visit such a café if it opened here in India?
