UN recently released its World Happiness Report and there are a few surprises. Apart from India going down a few positions to be ranked lower than even Pakistan, the one country that defeated all others to top the list this year is the winter wonderland of Earth, Finland.
The World Happiness Report is released by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network every year to rank countries in exactly how happy their citizens are.
The six variables based on which this report is released are: income, freedom of movement and speech, trust, healthy life expectancy, social support and generosity.
But how can people be the happiest in a place having near constant cold climatic conditions and long stretches of darkness?
