The Caravan Teapot Festival is a two-day long celebration of tea and conversations. This unique festival builds a platform where tea lovers and inquisitive minds can come together for constructive debates, dialogues, and conversations over a cup of tea!
The idea of tea as a catalyst for conversations has been in our country for many years now, with loads of discussions on society, life and politics taking place over chai.
The Caravan Teapot Festival aims to meet and interact with tea lovers to have a wholesome experience on a cold winter day over cups of tea.
The aim of this event is to revive this age-old tradition of chai and conversations with a showcase of the best of tea drinking culture as well as displays of different varieties of tea providers and performances, workshops, debates and slam poetry which will truly reflect the culture of tea drinking and conversation in India.
In the past, The Caravan magazine has organized many events that have amplified the importance of a good and informed conversation. The Teapot Festival is one such initiative that will surely remind us of the wonders a cup to chai and a good talk can do.
The thought behind this festival is to revive the synonymy between a cup of chai and a conversation. They go so well together and we don’t see a reason not to recreate this!
