The Premier League had a pretty entertaining week, as usual, with some last-minute goal action and a key clash ending in a draw.

Here’s the summary of this week’s key clashes :

Starting off with Manchester City, The Sky Blues continued their winning run with Raheem Sterling stealing the show against West Ham.

Sterling was undoubtedly the mam of the match, with 2 fantastic goals to his name that ensured City maintained their Premier League form and emerged as 3-1 winners.

With Sergio Aguero now facing a potential FA ban, it will be interesting to see how Manchester City manage without their top scorer this season against Manchester United on 10th September.

Coming to the red side of Manchester, United played Hull City and needed a stoppage time winner from academy prodigy Marcus Rashford, who scored from a Wayne Rooney to put United ahead 1-0 and made sure that their Premier League streak continues.

The goal was much reminiscent to the goals scored under “Fergie Time”, with some fans calling it “Mourinho Time”, as Jose Mourinho is being credited by many as the man who has revived the winning mentality in Manchester United.

Coming to Chelsea, Eden Hazard continued his stunning form under Antonio Conte by scoring his side’s first goal as Chelsea steamrolled over Burnley with a 3-0 scoreline, with the other 2 goals scored by Willian and Victor Moses.

Arsenal and Leicester City finally won their first games this season as Arsenal won 3-1 against Watford, courtesy goals by Alexiss Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil whereas reigning champions Leicester City won 2-1 against Swansea.

Leicester’s match saw Jamie Vardy score his 1st league goal of the season and also saw Riyad Mahrez miss a penalty as Vardy and Wes Maorgan’s goals were enough to secure a 2-1 win for the Foxes and kick-start their title defense.

And finally, the marquee clash of Liverpool vs Tottenham ended in a draw as James Milner’s penalty was canceled out by Tottenham’s Danny Rose as the match finished 1-1.
