New York City, NY – The birthday ad for K from K-pop band “I-LAND”, which was picked from the former Mnet survival audition program, appeared at the Thomson Reuters building in Times Square, New York.
According to K’s online fan cafes and Twitter, the ad was the outcome of cooperation of fans from both Korea and Japan to celebrate his birthday on October 21st.
K is trainee from audition program and he is preparing to become a global idol in Korea as a Japanese national. He is a talented dancer who has trained in the U.S. and has been well-received by producers for his excellent skills and professional stage manners. However, fans were shocked when he failed to make the debut even after advancing as the top in the final round.
However, even though he failed to make his debut, fans are still sending a support message with greater love.
There are more to the K’s birthday ad. Around his birthday, October 21st, coffee holder events will be held at COEX Crown Media, COEX Media Tower, Samsung Station Superior Tower, Samsung Station Brand Media, and seven coffee shops nationwide. And events like Fukuoka Tower Light Up are also planned in Japan.
This is an exceptional large-scale birthday event for a trainee who has not made official debut. He is expected to grow in the future as much as he receives attention in both Korea and Japan.
