We Have The Power To Alter Our Present By Going Back To The Past: Here’s How

There exist parallel worlds in the universe for each choice of ours not taken in our own world with different outcomes. All because of the Butterfly Effect.

The Many Worlds interpretation and the Butterfly Effect proves the fact that there are simultaneous worlds out there which have been created out of a choice of ours and that we have the power to alter our present by going back to the past.

To take a very simple example, all of us had a choice to choose between commerce and science in class. Suppose you take up Commerce and have achieved great heights with it, there might be the world in which you had chosen Science and had a completely different life, different success or failure story, different spouse, etc.

Parallel Universe

The universe is literally duplicated, splitting into one universe for each possible outcome from the measurement.

If an action has more than one possible outcome, then the universe splits when that action is taken. This holds true even when a person chooses not to take any action.

This means that if you have ever found yourself in a situation where death was a possible outcome, then in a universe parallel to ours, you are dead. This is just one reason that some find the Many-Worlds interpretation disturbing.

Many Worlds Theory

The universe makes copies of itself to account for all the possibilities and these duplicates will proceed independently. These copies have identical facial and body features but do not have identical personalities (one may be aggressive and another may be passive) because each one experiences a separate outcome.

“The Butterfly Effect” applies this theory to the lives of four children in the movie in which Ashton Kutcher is the protagonist whose early lives are marred by tragedy. When one of them finds that he can go back in time and make changes, he tries to improve the present by altering the past.

A must watch Movie.

The Butterfly Effect

According to the Butterfly Effect, the power to cause a hurricane in China is due to a butterfly flapping its wings in New Mexico. It may take a very long time, but the connection is real. If the butterfly had not flapped its wings at just the right point in space/time, the hurricane would not have happened.

It is philosophically very shocking but logical,” says Steven Strogatz, a professor of applied mathematics at Cornell and author of Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos.

How fun and scary it would be to do so. Who knows any one of us may suffer from a blackout someday and we are back in our past and able to alter our present.
