Watch: AI To Replace Teachers in Chinese Schools For Grading Papers: Is The Future Here Already?

As if artificial intelligence wasn’t being used enough already, we are now seeing it being put to use in an altogether new field.

According to a report by South China Morning Post, one in every four Chinese schools is testing artificial intelligence for grading students’ essays. The technology understands logic and meaning of the text to judge the overall quality of the students’ essays.

The students are also benefited by this development as the technology also suggests improvements that can be made to the essays. Thus, the writing skills of the students are said to improve.

While the technology is still in its infancy, it is self-learning and is thus expected to improve over time.
