According to science, humans can not be with one person romantically or sexually for their entire life and that is where the concept of polyamory comes to play. The word polyamory quite literally refers to the act of investing in multiple romantic and/or sexual relationships with the consent of all the parties involved. Moreover, it is still quite a gray area given some people associate the concept with cheating whereas others find it exciting and completely harmless.

Personally, I don’t find the idea of open relationships or polyamory appealing. It is definitely not cheating if each and every individual have given their consent however I do believe that polyamory comes with its own laundry list of problems.
