While many artists have hundreds or thousands of singles under their belt, Khalil “Saint Cassius” Walton has over 20 million. You heard that right. This extraordinary artist and entrepreneur has been involved with over 20 million singles worldwide.

If you’re wondering how it all started, a little flashback is required. When Saint Cassius was 6, like his father, who played piano and saxophone, music came to him naturally.

During his first recital, an open window caused the wind to blow the music off the piano while Saint Cassius was playing. He was unbothered and kept playing because he knew the piece well. That’s when everyone realized he had a gift.

Years after the recital, Saint Cassius continuously honed his craft. He got his biggest break for Bruno Mars’ Grammy-Winning song Just the Way You Are in 2010. In 2013, Saint Cassius launched Vinyl Crown, an independent record company. Vinyl Crown has worked with well-renowned artists including Bruno Mars, J. Cole, Lupe Fiasco, Keyon Harrold, Bryson Tiller, and Lil’ Wayne.

Currently, Saint Cassius is working on Good Ass Job, a play on an unreleased album title Kanye hinted to finalize his College Series. However, Saint Cassius’ immense success came with a lot of challenges. His mom died when he was just 8 months old. He was adopted by the same family who adopted his dad. Then, he became the best friend of his grandmother’s twin with cerebral palsy. She was 66 years older than him.

On top of that, Saint Cassius was held at gunpoint twice. He also suffered from a terrible car accident and survived a high-speed car chase. At the start of his career, Saint Cassius bravely stood up to music corporations. He also went door to door for 2 years as part of a direct sales management program.

When things started going well, Saint Cassius got threats for trying to help his peers by sharing his knowledge. None of these challenges stopped Saint Cassius from becoming a successful entrepreneur, writer, publisher, and recording artist. When asked what he wants to be known for, this amazing artist said, “I want to be remembered as someone who believed in themselves, overcame their own self-sabotage, and helped others to find their light along the way. Everything I do is about promoting a positive self-image, with quality and high-end taste.”
