National Geographic released it’s award winning pictures for the 2015 Traveler Photo Contest. There were four categories of photographs: Travel Portraits, Outdoor Scenes, Sense of Place, and Spontaneous Moments.

With over 18,000 photographs, the judges chose ten pictures that won top prizes. And to top it off the winners were gifted an expedition trip to Costa Rica, the Panama Canal, Yellowstone and a cruise vacation.
