The Anuradha Paudwal-led foundation provided a platform to the artists and groups during Ganesh Chaturthi

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 27: Suryodaya Foundation, a social welfare initiative founded by noted playback singer and Padma Shri awardee Anuradha Paudwal, launched ten new and upcoming artists during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

As a part of its Evalese Rop Laviyale Dwari initiative, the Suryodaya Foundation gave a platform to the ten artists to perform on the ten days of the popular festival. The artists are highly talented performers who lost their loved ones to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The initiative was aimed at encouraging the budding artists, and they came out with flying colours. The artists treated the audiences to a musical treat of ten days with their mesmerising performances.

The artists and groups that performed as a part of the initiative include Pandit Aurangabadkar, Shekhar Raje, Sunil Chhagan, Prashant Kalundrekar & Meghna, Jayesh Nikam, Swar Gandhar, Shekhar Niranjan Bhakre, Pravin Phanse, Vadyavrunda Suryasparsha, and Swarmaifil Vadyavrunda.

“The initiative was a humble effort to provide a platform to these young artists. Each of these artists is extremely talented, and what better occasion to make a new beginning in their lives than Ganesh Chaturthi. I appeal everyone to support and encourage these young artists,” says Suryodaya Foundation Founder Dr. Anuradha Paudwal, the voice behind scores of songs in the 1990s that are still as fresh as they were then.

Suryodaya Foundation has been working on various social causes promoting education, healthcare, employment generation, and water conservation efforts focusing on rural development and women empowerment. The foundation also undertook several initiatives to augment the healthcare resources during the Covid-19 pandemic.
