Recently Sunny Shandil, the owner of Om Sons Bridal Store, had an opportunity to dress the gorgeous bride Shraddha Arya for her marriage to the Navy Officer Rahul. The marriage was a quiet intimate wedding affair with her close family and friends. 

Arya who got her bridal jewelry and accessories custom -designed by Sunny Shandil of Om Sons adorned a subtle floral teeka, bangles and necklace for her haldi ceremony, while wearing the beautiful golden kaleeras to go with her red outfit with golden metallic work for her wedding day. 

In Punjabi tradition, the newly wed bride continues wearing the chooda for a period of anywhere between 40 days to a year and a half. The red chooda is believed to bring fertility and prosperity to the newlywed couple. Continuing the tradition forward, Shraddha Arya was seen wearing the chooda while she receives the honor bestowed upon her by the Indian film industry. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India’s highest award in the field of entertainment.

Arya won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best Actress in the Television Series. It was indeed a glorious moment for Shraddha to have embraced her tradition with pride while receiving the most prestigious award in the Indian film industry, it was an extended bonus for Sunny Shandil who designed the personalized chooda for Arya.
