The FIR states that some of the L-1 license holders have been providing credit notes to retail vendors with the purpose of transferring the funds as a part of some unwarranted monetary benefit to public servants by making false entries in the accounts to maintain a straight A record on paper.
What Is The Situation Right Now?
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court declined to consider Manish Sisodia’s petition for the overturning of the FIR or, in potential substitute, to award him bail from the custody of the CBI. The Supreme Court ruled that the defendant will have to obtain redress from the trial court or the Delhi High Court. Sisodia rescinded his appeal.
