Love has been the most consistent thing in the world. Generations passed, but love always stayed. However, the idea of love and how people of different ages perceive it has changed quite a lot.
Generation Z, the freedom and independence-loving generation, has rejected the value of older generations and is set towards the path of making their own set of rules of love. Gen Z has undoubtedly broken all the societal gender norms within relationships. As compared to millennials and boomers, Gen Z is in no rush to be in love.
They want to be financially independent and stable before marrying. Some fear commitment, while others desire a rom-com love story.
What Do Different Generations Have To Say
So, to better understand the idea of love, we talked to some people who belong to different generations. Millennials, also known as Generation Y, refers to people born between the 1980s to the mid-1990s.
Boomers are born between 1946 to 1964. Gen Zs, on the other hand, are those who are born between the mid-1990s and mid-2000s.
Let’s look at their perception of love!
