Women experience emotional complexities more than their male counterparts. Males may fight it out aggressively but females are believed to hold grudges for a long time.
In a study, it was found that women are less inclined to resolve fights in the same-sex peer group as compared to males. Competition is healthy and natural but girl rivalry is seen as detrimental to the feminist idea of sisterhood.
An extension of this is the apprehension of young women to join a girls’ college. To know the reality of rivalry in an all-women group in a competitive environment of education, we asked students of girls’ college if girl rivalry is a reality or just a myth.
They shared their opinion and it is a mixed bag. Here’s what they said.
