ED VoxPop–Here’s How Chandigarh Youngsters Reacted To The Supposed Ban of Mini Skirts in Discos

178

According to a report by India’s leading national journal: ‘Chandigarh set to ban mini skirts in discotheques’.

This was done under the policy of “Controlling of Places of Public Amusement, 2016”.

Within some time, the news started doing rounds on social media and received a lot of backlash.

UT Home Secretary Anurag Agarwal went on record and clarified that there has been no such prescribed dress code under the policy. The policy apparently was misinterpreted.

“Chandigarh is a modern city and administration can never thing of taking such absurd decision,” he added.

Here are some reactions ED got from youngsters from Chandigarh about their views upon the ‘apparent’ ban on mini skirts in discotheques.
