Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (University of Delhi) has a legacy of academic and professional pre-eminence since 1987. First of its kind in the entire DU circuit, Convergence is the Annual Leadership Summit Of SSCBS.
The largest event of SSCBS, both financially and by footfall, Convergence aims at debating over the most contentious issues pertaining to business, economics, and technology, thereby arriving at a consensus to grapple with them in the most potent manner.
Previous guests included Varun Gandhi, Raj Shamani, Divyanshu Damani and Saket Modi.
This year Convergence 2019 is looking forward to speakers from different horizons of professions, thus engaging every type of audience, increasing interaction throughout the event.
After witnessing sixteen years of success, they now aim to raise the bar and take the event to the next level.
To take the stage this year, there are eminent personalities like Madan Lal (former Indian cricketer), Medha Patkar (Indian social activist), Shreya Mehta (actress) and Maxima Basu (costume designer).

MEDHA PATKAR- Social activist, alumni of TISS and a founding member of 32 year old Narmada Bachao Andolan.
MADAN LAL- A former Indian cricketer, Indian national cricket coach and member of the historic 1983 cricket team whose contributions to the game have made him a stalwart of Indian cricket.
MAXIMA BASU- OSCAR fame, director, actress and fashion designer. Won Filmfare and Asian Award for costume designing. Also assisted in Slumdog Millionaire.
SHREYA MEHTA- Fashion model, actress, choreographer, YouTuber and motivational speaker. Starred in movie Namaste England. AKA Filmykudi.
APOORV SINGH KARKI- A director known for The Aam Aadmi Family, Flames and Engineering Girls. He is the creative head of The Timeliners and also the creative director of TVF originals.
AKANSH GAUR- The AVP, content strategy and operations head at TVF. Head at Influencer Content Network. The man famous for his content and creativity.
AKSHARA DAMLE- Founder of Mano Samvaada, a psychologist, a consultant, a TEDx Speaker and Public policy analyst based out of Bengaluru.
HARAGOPAL MANGIPUDI- Co-creator of FinUNO and developed digital banking function system FINACLE with Infosys. Recipient of IIM B Alumnus Award.
AKHAND SWAROOP- The man who cleared all government exams including IAS and IES in his journey to become an inspiration for millions of aspirants.
HANITA BHAMBRI- Immensely talented singer and an inspiration who connects the people and changes their lives through her songs.
HARJAS SINGH- Harjas Singh, is an author, speaker, YouTuber and life skills coach who aims to revolutionize the education system in India.
AABIR VYAS- Aabir Vyas, a trending influencer and the new age sensation. At the age of just 21 he is a famous YouTuber and comedian as well.
