Just to get a background check, it was started in 1967 held in new York City. Launching daily consumer electronics, it jumped to future gadgets and concept products in the recent years.
2013 was a milestone year. Held from Tuesday, January 8th to Friday, January 11th, 2013,mor than 3,000 exhibitors showcased their innovative products. Having an attendance of 140,000, this year’s products consist of 3D, Embedded Technology and Wireless Devices to name a few. Samsung unveiled its multi-view TVs. Intel revealed ATOM processor for embedded markets as well as Bay Trail. Razer announced Razer Edge tablet PC. Nvidia announced Android handheld Project Shield. Research In Motion showed off Blackberry 10 touch screen phone.
One of the unusual gadgets released this year was the iPotty. iPotty from CTA Digital makes potty doing easier for parents while the junior gapes and paws on iPad. It has some Potty training apps too. Cool, na? Another interesting on is the Cookoo smart watch. It displays digital indicators, aided by beeps, it show missed calls, mails or an appointment.
Among other launches there were Electric Curtains made of light wires. Touchscreen Gloves had lot of attention to it: They are wired so as to control smartphone screens. World’s first 3D Video Wall was also experienced in addition to the ‘Wear your Camera’, Wireless Computers, Audi’s Matrix Technology, Eating managers and Dancing Robots.
