Greetings Potterheads!
I would like to give out some important news regarding “Harry Potter“. But before that let’s all travel back in time, to when we would all get so fired up for the new “Harry Potter” book or movie that was going to release, and never stop talking about it. Then the endless wait for it to release. And when it does, rushing to the theaters to watch your favorite book come to life. Most of us Potterheads cried a little bit on the inside when we finally realized that the last Harry Potter movie, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” was out, and it was an end to our childhood-craze, almost like hauling an end to our childhood at large. The feeling of nostalgia strikes hard on this one, doesn’t it?
Well, this cycle has been a part of my life for 8 years, and I still can’t believe that the whole series is finally over.. but is it?
It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of the 8th Harry Potter book titled – “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child“. I have always been a Potterhead and was simply ecstatic when I first heard about this AMAZING news.
A controversy seemed to emerge as to who has written this book. JK Rowling then cleared the air with a tweet, answering a fan’s question, that stated – “#CursedChild is a play and while we have worked very closely on it, the wonderful writer is @jackthorne,”
The book is based on an original new story by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany. Therefore, it was not only written by JK Rowling but also by Jack Thorne and John Tiffany as co-writers. It is officially the eighth story in Harry Potter saga and a new play by Jack Thorne.” Hence, it’s not just a Rowling’s novel but rather a play was co-written among Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany converted into a book. So this book is actually a script of a stage play converted into a book.
The Little, Brown Book Group, who will publish “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” announced that Rowling will not do any publicity tour or book signing when “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is released. The book is releasing on the same day as Harry Potter’s birthday on the eve of July 31, 2016, which is also the day after “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” debuts at the Palace Theatre in London. What a nice day to release it!
Here’s a tiny spoiler for all those impatient people out there, it’s the continuation of the story 19years after “Harry Potter and The Deadly Hallows”.
It’s basically about Harry’s Son.
Well, that’s about all I can say. Let’s just wait for it.
