The loss of a loved one is a very sad affair. Nothing can console the family or friends of the deceased. To ensure that the deceased souls have a safe journey to the afterworld, every kind of ritual imaginable is performed. Nothing is left to chance.
Utmost care is taken that their spirit does not come back to haunt the ones living. Rites are performed and rules are observed.
This poster series looks at the various kinds of death rituals performed across the world. Some are really weird, and some which some may perceive to be very disturbing indeed.
But whatever keeps them spirits at bay and help them grieve.
